Manifesto

The final assignment was introduced yesterday, and this is definitely the one I have been most excited about. I think the reason I am so excited to progress with this so early is because I have a really cool idea that I really can't wait to get stuck into.

Usually I hate projects where we are allowed to do whatever we want (strange I know!) but I respond well to parameters, it reigns the ideas in and gets me on track faster. Perhaps this is something I should include in my project...

Anyway, I really want to do a student handbook, some kind of how to be a designer in the modern day or something, not entirely sure yet, but im excited to make the book! I LOVE using Indesign and colour and graphics and making books is a great way to show off skills in this area and have a great example for potential employers.

This week I will be looking at other manifestos and trying to pin down exactly what I want to say in my point and manifesto and how that might start to take shape in the book manifestation of it.
