Flaneuring

So photo taking was really interesting, but I feel a little like we have had different instructions from everyone else, so not sure whether I am on track currently. I took a lot of average photos, and figured out that what I really wanted was to photo people but I didn't want any confrontation, so all the photos I wanted to get ended up being really crappy photos.

I wrote a few haiku's as practice etc.

After the lecture, and todays tut, I feel way more confused about what I doing. I just don't see a clear point to why any of my things matter and don't feel like good photos are going to be produced from any situations I am looking at.

Currently ive got two scenarios with rubbish and smoking vs nature and beauty of looking up.

But then I have to include a sentence and my sentence I like from the reading is "Enjoying a crowd is an Art"

Its all a little over the place I reckon...pick a sentence, but then flaneur with that sentence in mind (oxymoron) and then take images that represent something about you as a designer, but make it critical. Maybe I should be critical of the idea that I have to think critically to design? I don't know. Bad headspace about this at the moment so I'll try and get better ideas or hope something comes to me...

ENJOYING A CROWD IS AN ART

Enjoying: Satisfaction, happy, carefree, uninvolved, relaxed
Crowd: Suffocating, Self Involved, Busy, Rude,
Art: Colours, Patterns, Skills, Talents, Visual, Beauty

Diverting paths because of smokers. Why does it matter? Other people’s unhealthy actions have an influence over my life in such a physical way.
Beauty is where smokers can’t touch it, but clouds are a reflection of smoking on Streets almost.

For me to enjoy a crowd, people need to be at a polite distance, and happy, and not smoking or affecting anyone else around them.
