So in class today we were introduced to project three. We are playing more with interaction and control and using the mousePressed function. It makes things a lot more interactive, what I want to make sure doesn't happen is that I look the aesthetics as I get more into the fun of being able to control what the picture does!
I did a few things in class today....
In this one I played with the look of pipes, I particularly like how the slower the ellipse gets in following the mouse, the more shadow is applied and makes the image have a 3D effect.
This one was playing with the MouseX and MouseY functions and also the mousePressed, it continued to +1 to my variable everytime, but when mousePressed the shape disappeared.
In this processing sketch I had the mouse following me around, but it didnt just follow the mouse, it took awhile to catch up to the position of my mouse.
I also tried a mousepressed function having my circle be filled with a different colour if it was pressed......
now im looking at openprocessing at some interactive things for inspiration - although the ones I am most drawn too are very complex and I am not up to that standard yet!
my favourite from open processing...
