Construction

So, today I went everywhere trying to find black hinges - or any colour that isn't hideous actually - but I failed! There were black hinges at Goldings, but they were only for looks and did not actually work as hinges.

The only place I am yet to try is spotlight - but I am going to try and think of a different way to make it work. Ideally the structure will fold in on itself, but I want it to be all one colour and look really clean, so making it without a nice coloured hinge is an issue!

I tried goldings and bunnings and the French Art shop and Gordon Harris. I have yet to try Mitre10, placemakers and spotlight. I may rethink the design before I get to these shops as time wasted looking for hinges that don't exist might be an issue!:)

I have found a few options online - but they are $21.90 each! ahhh!

I also found a plastic hinges which is black, but these are $22! so I'm not sure this is going to be a financially viable option for me...
