I enjoyed the game, because the theory behind coding I understand, it's the writing it that I find difficult!
It seems to take me a lot longer to write code than others - which is fine because I'm a beginner and I suspect I am in a tutorial group full of computer science majors, but I am not enjoying trying to figure out why things aren't working when they look exactly the same as what worked in class yesterday. It's really cutting into my practice time!!
I know it's all apart of the learning process, but the problem is I'm not sure whether it's me, or the program. This morning I tried starting a simple shape and it said my void setup line was wrong, then I opened a new one and started again and did the exact same void setup line, and it was fine, but the line part wouldn't work.
Frustrating huh! I wish I could have a tutor in my pocket all the time and when I need them to fix an error they are there, but otherwise I can continue getting faster at the writing of the code so I can actually practice making shapes!
Anyway, here are some things I did in class yesterday (woohoo!)
I also did some of the tutorial and made a red square with a non filled circle inside. I thought I saved this, but turns out I didn't so lesson to me!
I am trying to create ANYTHING this morning, but my computer doesn't want to let them work (even though the same code is being used as yesterday). I will re-start my computer and hope it fixes the issues, but otherwise my morning of practising coding is not going to be very productive!
Ok, so I restarted and figured some things out and I have been busy doing tutorials, so here are the pics, yay learning!

My first play with curves (or bezier) a bit sucky!

Getting better...

Geting better again!

Smily:)
The only issues with bezier is I basically am guessing and changing as I go to see if it looks good, but I guess that's why we practice!
Done with tutorials on the School of Design website, now for creating my own shape..
My first star and playing with star parameters...

It took me awhile but I got a nice looking star! woo! ...could be better though..
I know we aren't supposed to use colour yet, but how fun is that!
