Deciding on a topic for this project has been extremely difficult for me, as you well know by now! So now I think I will start testing out one of the ideas I had, which is the ideas of balloons you can play with. The balloons inspiration initially came from planning my neices birthday party, and how excited balloons made the kids, and also the beauty they have when they float with the strings attached.
I'm a bit daunted (as Ben in the lecture said I would be) as I feel like its going to be a lot to get my head around!
So for the last three or four hours I have been looking at online tutorials and trying to get a better understanding of conditionals, loops, and mousepressed type options in Processing. They have been really good, I want to start getting my sketch together shortly and hopefully I can figure small parts of it out slowly but surely.
In my head there is a line of balloons on strings along the bottom of the sketch - all with different but similar length strings. I envision some of the strings to be straight and some kind of lagging, wavy lines if you get what I mean. I want the balloons to kind of bob there as if an invisible wind is blowing.
Once I figure that out I can go onto the more exciting stuff and get the breakage of strings, and popping of ballon's going on!
