I have been playing around with different music choices for that last week. I went through a lot of classical music trying to find one that had the intense boosts, but also wasn't too much. I finally settled on Beethoven for the Culture and Context part of my clip. This music is fine to use as the copyright laws have long expired.
My tutor has said previously that as long as we credit our music, its fine to continue using without permission. But others have said it has to be legit, so I am seeing if I can get clarification from my tutor before hand in.
The media part I was hoping could be longer, but as I need to put emphasis on other areas, and have cut out all I can of the industrial part (the longest part) so the transitions make sense. I consulted The Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra for permission to use their music in my clip and have permission.
The other music is by international artists and I will credit them, but unfortunately could no get written permission. I included sounds from freesounds.org. also to create more atmosphere for each section.
Currently I am playing around with brightness and trying to get the music transitions seamless. And also contacting Britney Spears and Josh Ritter to see if I can have permission to use their music as they are the only two songs I have used which I legally am not able to.
