'Automatic Door' was the quote I chose from the Helvetica movie. This wasnt exactly a sound-bite as it was a visual sign on an automatic door which opens as you approach it. I chose it as it speaks to me in two ways. The first is that the use of Helvetica as a typeface is so popular and realiable it seems like its an automatic choice. The second reason is that it reminds me that Helvetica is universal and around us everywhere we look, if we choose to see it.
I also chose the line "Do what I feel is right" as I think the above is many not entirely what it was hoped I would take out of the film. This line is a goodie as it reminds me that being a designer and having my own voice means I need to trust the decisions I make.
